Earthquake in Tokyo

          Another natural disaster has struck the earth once again. A 6.0-magnitude of earthquake shook eastern Japan last Tuesday. The quake struck off the east coast of Honshu at 8 p.m. local time with the focus estimated to be 10 kilometres below sea level, the USGS said. The epicentre was about 316 miles from the capital, Tokyo. A smaller, 4.9-magnitude quake hit about 40 minutes earlier with 71 miles centre. In Miyako City, no report of injuries or damage there and quake seemed to last for about 40 seconds. However, for protective measures, locals are advised to stay cautious at this terrible time because authorities are expecting more earthquakes to come.
